Answer: The value of x is -3

Step-by-step explanation: We want to solve the equation x+1=-x+(-5)

the first thing we want to do is isolate x, for doing this we may add x in both sides of the eqution, to remove the x therm in the right side:

x+1 +x =-x+(-5) + x

2x + 1 = - 5

now we can subtract 1 in both sides, to remove the 1 in the left side.

2x + 1 - 1 = -5 - 1

2x = - 6

now we can divide both sides by 2, with the objective of remove the factor 2 in the left side

2x/2 = -6/2

x = -3

Quadrilateral DUCKDUCKD, U, C, K is inscribed in circle OOO. What is the measure of \angle K∠Kangle, K?
N76 [4]

Answer:

Measure of ∠K=180-∠U

Or

Measure of ∠K=1/2m(arc DUC)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

DUCK quadrilateral inscribed in circle with center O

To Find:

Measure angle K

Solution:

Here the Quadrilateral in inscribed in a circle with center O named as DUCK

So angle K and  U are opposite to each other

We know that the angle of Quadrilateral inscribed in a circle are supplemenatry angles

Hence

∠U+∠K=180

Or The ∠K=1/2*m∠arc(DUC).

Hence depending on the given value for arc measure or angle of quadrilateral we calculate the angle K

Answer:

\sqrt{-5}=i\sqrt{5}

\sqrt{-25}=5i

Step-by-step explanation:

i is an imaginary unit, this means

i^2=-1

Rewrite -5 as 5\cdot (-1)=5\cdot i^2,

then

\sqrt{-5}=\sqrt{5i^2}=\sqrt{5}\cdot \sqrt{i^2}=\sqrt{5}\cdot i=i\sqrt{5}

Rewrite -25 as -25=25\cdot (-1)=25\cdot i^2,

then

\sqrt{-25}=\sqrt{25\cdot i^2}=\sqrt{25}\cdot \sqrt{i^2}=5\cdot i=5i

Number 8 please can you write and equation
tigry1 [53]
8.5x + 55 = 123

You would use the formula: mx + b = y

The slope is the amount of money each day(mx),and the y-intercept would be the fee(b) and the total cost would be y.
