Explain nutrients are not really inside the body until they have passed through the wall of the small intestine

The reason why is because when you eat food the food has to be digested and during the process the food has to go through the small intestine to get the nutrients. When the food is in the small intestine it squeezes and churns all of the nutrients out of the food so your body can obtain them, so until the food passes through the small intestine no nutrients will be inside the body.

Which theory would suggest that watching a horror movie late at night could lower your absolute threshold for sound as you subse
Pavel [41]

Answer:

signal detection theory.

Explanation:

Signal detection theory, which at its most basic, states that the detection of a stimulus depends on both the intensity of the stimulus and the physical/psychological state of the individual. Basically, we notice things based on how strong they are and on how much we're paying attention.

For example, A hit is when the signal is present and detected. A miss is when the signal is present and not detected. A false alarm is when the signal is absent but is detected, like hearing your phone ring when no one is calling or a knock at the door when no one is there.
