Cholesterol. Needs to be limited. High level of cholesterol increases risk of atherosclerosis (narrowing of arteries) , heart attack, stroke . transient ischaemic attack(mini stroke) and peripheral arterial disease. Saturated fat. This is fat consisting of molecules that have no double bonds between carbon molecules because they are saturated with hydrogen. Saturated fats raise the level of cholesterol and must be eaten in moderation to avoid this. Salt. A diet that is high in salt can cause high blood pressure. Cutting down on salt lowers blood pressure which means risk of having a stroke or developing heart disease is reduced.

What are the population of grasslands. it can be animals or plants
NemiM [27]
<span>Grasslands are one of the most widespread of all the major vegetation types of the world. This is so, however, only because human manipulation of the land has significantly altered the natural vegetation, creating artificial grasslands of cereal crops, pastures, and other areas that require some form of repetitious, unnatural disturbance such as cultivation, heavy grazing, burning, or mowing to persist. This discussion, however, concentrates on natural and nearly natural grasslands.

Oils and waxes are water repellent. give two examples in animals or plants where this property would be useful
MAXImum [283]
The water repellant properties of waxes is very useful in the leaves of some plants, in the feathers of birds and also in cuticle of insects. Waxes in plant leaves reduce the amount of water that is lost by the leaves. The wax that is present in the birds' feather prevent them from getting wet with water.

Why do volcanoes occur most often near plate tectonics?
dem82 [27]
Diverging plate boundaries, earthquakes occur as the plates pull away from each other. Volcanoes also form as magma rises upward from the underlying mantle along the gap between the two plates. We almost never see these volcanoes, because most of them are located on the sea floor.
