They can be culture in Solid medium, Semi-solid media and Liquid (Broth) medium.

Further explanation

Cultured media

A culture media is a unique medium utilized in microbiological labs to develop various types of microorganisms. A development or a culture medium is made out of various supplements that are basic for microbial development.

Cultured media for bacterial growth

These media are used to culture bacteria in labs like Solid medium, Semisolid media and Liquid (Broth) medium.

Solid medium

It contains agar at a convergence of 1.5-2.0% or some other, for the most part dormant cementing operator. Strong medium has physical structure and enables microscopic organisms to develop in physically useful or valuable ways. Strong medium is valuable for separating microbes or for deciding the settlement qualities to detach.

Semi-solid media

Semi-solid media are set up with agar at groupings of 0.5% or less. They have delicate custard like consistency and are valuable for the development of microaerophilic microorganisms or for assurance of bacterial motility.

Liquid medium

These media contain explicit measures of supplements yet don't have hint of gelling specialists, for example, gelatin or agar. Stock medium fills different needs, for example, proliferation of huge number of creatures, maturation considers, and different tests. For example, sugar fermentation tests.

There are three physical types of media, theses are solid, liquid and semi-solid.
In liquid media, growth occur throughout the media. In solid media, there  are firm surfaces for bacteria to form discreet colonies. This type of media usually contain 1-5% agar. For semi-solid media, this type of media has soft constituency at room temperature and does not flow freely.

Why are frameshift mutations likely to be more detrimental than point mutations, in which a single pyrimidine or purine has been
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:Frameshift mutations are likely to change more than one amino acid, infact a completely irrelevant protein with altered amino acid sequence is produced.

Explanation:

Frameshift mutation is due to addition or deletion of bases. From that point onwards the reading frame shifts, different set of codons read. Frameshift mutations are likely to change more than one amino acid, infact a completely irrelevant protein with altered amino acid sequence is produced.

Frame shift mutation can lead to thalassemia due to premature chain termination and run-on-polypeptude that are non-functional.
