The best  answer is A.

In most living  organisms, codons are assigned to the same amino acids.

Each amino acid is coded for by a set of three nucleotides in DNA. Each set of nucleotides is called a codon or triplet. The set of all possible three-nucleotide combinations is called the genetic code or triplet code. It is universal.

These combinations are 64 in number. Of these, 3 do not code for any amino acid and are called non-sense codons, which leaves 61 which code for specific amino acids and are called sense codons.

Answer:

Dodos were flightless birds that have been extinct for about 300 years. Imagine that biologists found two surviving dodos and mated this pair of birds. What would you expect of the resulting dodo population after three generations?

The maximum number of alleles present for any gene in the new population is two

Explanation:

As a result of this mating, in the third generation the maximum number of alleles present for any gene in the new population will be two.

bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

The correct answer will be-

1. Chromosomes are made up of protein and nucleic acid.

2. Genes are located on chromosomes.

3. Chromosomes are found in the nucleus.

Explanation:

Watson and Crick are known for their findings on the structure of DNA in 1953. Their findings were motivated by the book called "What is Life?".

The book stated the concepts which were well accepted by the scientific communities that is the gene determines the trait which is located on the chromosomes proved by the experiments of Morgan.

The chromosomes are the condensed structure present in the nucleus was suggested by the Nageli in 1884. The chromosomes are composed of nucleic acid and protein was also proved and was well-accepted fact.

But the genes are made up of DNA was not well accepted which was suggested by the experiments of Avery in 1940s.

Thus, the selected options are the correct answer.

Is human development best characterized as a slow, gradual process, or is it best viewed as one of more abrupt change?
ankoles [38]

Answer:

Heyya!

Human development is a slow and gradual process. There seems to be slow and gradual change that becomes abrupt change. The mind has many connections and works according to past habits. A person who seeks to improve themselves will gradually change specific areas within their life. After a while there is a cascade effect that causes linked areas to be altered. Skills and methods that required practice and habit forming transition to being a natural part of life.  When the personality suddenly changes, I use the term evolution. Whenever one occurs, the person will probably see their past self as problematic.
