Why did the colonists and British fight in the American Revolution?
deff fn [24]

The colonists thought they were being taxed for problems that they did not create, and in wars that they did not participate in. They thought George III was a tyrant, which he was.  Their reasons are clearly laid out in the declaration of Independence. They have (I would say) about 2 dozen grievances and their attitude was enough was enough.

The British fought because their empire was being threatened. They were losing colonies which they thought were rightfully theirs. They came very close (in the beginning) to winning. Maybe George was a little insane, but he was their king and the government flowed from him.

Continuously checking to see if the cookies are ready is an example of the _____________ schedule of reinforcement.
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

The correct answer is fixed-interval

In a fixed interval reinforcement scheme, the reinforcement is presented if the organism emits at least one response after a fixed time interval. Generally, this scheme is represented, placing the specific value of the fixed interval. For example: FI-1 hour means that the backup is presented after 1 hour and only for the first response issued.

The fixed interval reinforcement scheme results in a low frequency of responses at the beginning of the interval, increasing as the end of the interval approaches.
