Answer:

Acceleration due to gravity at new location will be g=9.820022m/sec^2

Explanation:

We have given time period of pendulum T = 2 sec

Acceleration due to gravity g=9.8m/sec^2

Time period of pendulum is given by T_1=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}, here L is length and G is acceleration due to gravity

So 2=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{9.8}}------eqn 1

In second case time period is 1.99796 sec

So 1.99196=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}--------eqn 2

Now dividing eqn 1 by eqn 2

\frac{2}{1.99796}=\sqrt{\frac{g}{9.8}}

\sqrt{\frac{g}{9.8}}=1.00102

Squaring both side

\frac{g}{9.8}=1.00204

g=9.820022m/sec^2

The difference between a budget and a standard is that:_________.
8090 [49]

Answer:

The answer is A. Standards refer to a company's projected revenues, costs, or expenses

Explanation:

The explanation is the following:

A budget refers to a department's or a company's projected revenues, costs, or expenses, while on the other hand A standard usually refers to a projected amount per unit of product, per unit of input (such as direct materials, factory overhead), or per unit of output.

Standard costing is intensive in application as it calls for detailed analysis of variances.

In standard costing, variances are usually revealed through accounts.

Standard costs represent realistic yardsticks and are, therefore, more useful for controlling and reducing costs.

As a result of a thorough physical inventory, Sheridan Company determined that it had inventory worth $320800 at December 31, 20
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Sheridan Company

The correct amount of inventory that Sheridan should report is:

= $367,100

Explanation:

a) Data and Calculations:

December 31 Inventory based on physical inventory =      $320,800

Goods held on consignment by Herschel =                            46,300

December 27, FOB destination goods ($22,000)                   0

Correct amount of inventory that Sheridan should report $367,100

b) Goods on consignment are generally the property of the consignor (supplier) and not the consignee's (retailer's).  Therefore, they must appear in the balance sheet of the consignor.  Goods on FOB destination remain the property of the supplier until they reach the buyer's destination.  This is why it is not included above.

Early in 2022, Stevenson Incorporated switched to a JIT (just-in-time) inventory system. Financial information for the two most
gregori [183]

Answer:

3.8 times

Explanation:

Inventory turnover indicates how many times a company sells and replaces its stock of goods during a particular period. The formula for inventory turnover ratio is the cost of goods sold divided by the average inventory for the same period.

$ 320,000 / 63,000 = 5.1 times in 2022

$283,500 / 32,000 = 8.9 times in 2023

Therefore inventory turnover increase as a result of the switch to the JIT system by 8.9 times - 5.1 times = 3.8 times
