How does an indirect democracy differ from a direct democracy?
sertanlavr [38]

Direct Democracy talks about people’s involvement on government issues by voting directly to the issues and laws. For indirect democracy refers to the elections of official that will vote on issues regarding laws and issues. Many would rather choose direct democracy because it allows people to take part on issues.

50PTS During the trial, Hathorne repeated many of his questions several times. Why do you think he did that? What effect do you
blagie [28]

I have no idea what book or story you are talking about, but based on my knowledge of Law... asking a person the same question over and over and cause a reaction in their fight or flight extinct, the person will start to become worried and they'll either start changing their answer or they'll break down completely. I'm guessing the when Hathorne asked the same question several times to Sarah, she started to get nervous.

I hope this kinda helped

If the house of representatives must decide the election, what is each state given?
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

Each state will be given with the number of electoral votes depended on their population.

Explanation:

The more population that a state has, the more amount of electoral votes that representatives from that state can cast. Currently, Unite States has around 538 electoral votes and it's spread out all across the states.

Let's examine Vermont and California as a comparison.

Vermont only has around 600,000 population. So the state only get 3 electoral votes out of that 538 total.  California has around 39.51 million population. This states get 55 electoral votes out of the 538 in total.
