The involuntary action or reflex of the quadriceps muscle is actually much faster than that of the voluntary action. This is because involuntary reflex action does not have to take the time of travelling to our brain before the action is created. While the voluntary response requires us first to feel the stimuli, decide what to act, and then send an impulse to the muscle in order to act.

3. In the Phylum Porifera, the highest level of organization is arguably only at the cellular' levél. How
SIZIF [17.4K]

Cnidarians have become more complex in terms of organisation than the poriferan as they have developed a tissue level organisation, they show locomotion , exhibit polymorphism and a radial symmetry.

This means that cnidarians evolved later than poriferans and are adapted to more competitive and complex environment.

Explanation:

 • Poriferans are pore bearing animals , they have cell specialization but no tissue level organisation while cnidarians are diploblastic and exhibit tissue level organisation.
 • Poriferans are asymmetrical organisms hence are primitive to the radially symmetrical cnidarians.
 • poriferans obtain nutrition mostly through filter feed while cnidarians have a gastro vascular cavity for digestion.

The movement of h+ ions into the stomach (represented above) is accomplished through:
Irina-Kira [14]
The appropriate response is active transport. Active transport is the development of particles over a cell layer from a district of their lower focus to a locale of their higher fixation—toward some inclination or another deterring factor.
Active transport utilizes cell vitality to move them against an angle, polar repugnance, or other resistance.
