A company builds computers. It costs $6,700 to build 10 computers and $12,200 to build 20 computers. Which equation models the c

ost, C(x), as a linear function of the number of computers built, x? C(x) = 550x −1200 C(x) = 550x + 1200 C(x) = 1200x − 550 C(x) = 1200x + 550

Add the fractions and simplify 5 2/5 + 2 10/13=
HACTEHA [7]
Simple....

you have:

5 \frac{2}{5} +2 \frac{10}{13}

to convert them into improper fractions:

1.) Take whole number*denominator

(5*5=25)

2.) Take what you got...and add the numerator

(25+2=27)

3.) Use the original denominator

\frac{27}{5}

Do the same to the other one...

2*13=26

26+10=36

\frac{36}{13}

Now..add...

\frac{27}{5} + \frac{36}{13}

But..you need a common denominator!

\frac{27}{5} * \frac{13}{13}= \frac{351}{65}

\frac{36}{13} * \frac{5}{5} = \frac{180}{65}

Now you can add!

\frac{351}{65} + \frac{180}{65} = \frac{531}{65}

When simplified....

8 \frac{11}{65}

Thus, your answer.

Since the triangles are similar, they will have proportional sides. With this knowledge, we can make the proportion \frac{8}{10} =\frac{x}{5} to solve for x.

Firstly, cross multiply: 40=10x

Next, divide by 10 on both sides, and your answer will be 4 = x, or the first option.
