Alrighty

we gots 1/4 circle and paralellogram

area circle=pi times radius^2
area paralelogram=base times height

1/4 circle is
radius is 10 so
area part circle is 1/4 times pi times 10^2=100/4pi=25pi=78.5 m²

area paralllogram is
10 times 3 because 3 is height and 10 is base length or 30

30+78.5=108.5 m² is the area

Find the slope and y-intercept of the line shown below.
Lady_Fox [76]

The slope of the line passing the coordinate point (0, 1) and (1,3) is 2

Slope of a line

The formula for calculating the slope of a line is expressed as:

Slope = y2-y1/x2-x1

Using the coordinate point (0, 1) and (1,3)

Slope =3-1/1-0
Slope =2/1

Slope =2

The slope of the line is 2

A box contains 3 coins, one fair, one weighted with a 2 3 chance of coming up heads, and one weighted with a 2 3 chance of comin
ddd [48]

Answer:

The probability that we have a fair coin is 0.2717

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Ci be the event that the coin i is used for while we let i = 1,2,3 (representing the three coin)

We also let H be the event that the coin which is flipped lands (which is head)

Therefore, the problem arise:

That:  P(H/C1) = 1/2.............fair coin

          p(H/C2) = 2/3..........Chance of head

          p(H/C3) = 2/3............Chance of tail

Now, noting that the coin was picked at random,

We have, : p(Ci) = P(C1) = P(C2) = P(C3) = 1/3

We can then say that or calculate thus:

P( C2 | H ) = P (H ∩ C2) ÷ P(H)

Where P (H ∩ C2) means the probability of event intersection

= P(H ∩ C2) ÷ P(H ∩ C1) + P(H ∩ C2) + P(H ∩ C3)

= P(H | C2) P(C2) ÷ P(H | C1) P(C1) + P(H | C2) P(C2) + P(H | C3) P(C3)

= (1 / 2) (1 / 3) ÷  (1/2)(1/3) + (2/3)(1/3) + (2/3) (1/3)

0.5 × 0.3 ÷ (0.5 × 0.3) + (0.67 × 0.3) + (0.67 × 0.3)

0.15 ÷ 0.15 + 0.201 + 0.201

=0.15 / 0.552

= 0.2717

The square root of 5 is between which two integers? Explain your reasoning.
vitfil [10]

Without using a calculator, you can reason that since 2²=4 and 3²=9, since 5 is between 4 and 9, its square root must be between 2 and 3.

Brian receives supplies for his pretzel business weekly. he usually works concession at three events a week and averages sales o
Kisachek [45]
The correct answer is a) $382.50.

He works 3 events and averages 150 pretzels; this is 3(150) = 450 pretzels. Since his cost is $0.85 each, we have
450(0.85) = 382.50
