"Water Never Hurt A Man" is a story by Walter Edmond, a classic historical fiction. He talks about the initiation of growing up, the transition from a state of decency to an adult man. The process that carries a certain dose of pain and suffering, but as a necessary means of growing up. The purpose of these sufferings is to overcome fears, what has once hurt, becomes a force. During a painful upbringing, water does not hurt a man, water leads to the necessary cracking during growing up, takes the adolescent out of hiding and faces him with maturity.
