One such situation in which compulsion might be implicit is if someone is in need or rescuing, since although they could be "forced" to be rescued, it can be assumed that they would want to be rescued anyway.

A compulsion refers to a "forced obligation." This means that a person has the duty or responsibility to act a certain way regardless of whether they want to do so or not. Moreover, implicit refers to a situation that is understood, but might not be expressed. An example of this is the responsibility to rescue someone who is in danger. Although neither party can express their preference, there is an implicit agreement that corresponds to the responsibilities of the rescuer.

What is the effect of the speaker addressing the audience as “sisters and brothers?”
Aleonysh [2.5K]

When a speaker refers to the audience as "brothers and sisters," they are 'breaking the ice' and making the audience feel closer to the speaker. It helps make the audience members and the speaker feel welcome.
