Evidence used to support spontaneous generation was the observation that foods over time become covered in maggots or fungal and

bacterial growth. The inference behind spontaneous generation is that there is no “parent” organism. Write this inference as a hypothesis using an if–then sentence that suggests a way of testing it.

A hypothesis that may be used to test the idea of spontaneous generation may be:

If there are no parent organisms present, then there will be organisms present in a container.

This hypothesis was tested in order to disprove the theory of spontaneous generation. A closed jar with meat was left and no maggots were observed, while an open jar with the same meat had maggots in it after some time.

Give three examples of ways in which biology can help inform everyday decisions
ki77a [65]
Three examples that biology can help in our everyday lives:

1. When you are faced with an animal, for example, a snake, you will know how to deal with it. You will examine what species that the snake belongs to and you will be able to identify its weaknesses.
2. When you are lost in a forest and that everything around you are plants and trees, you will know what kind of plant is edible or not and you can survive in the forest by utilizing what is available at your disposal.
3. You would also know what kind of food is good or not for the system. You will be able to analyze the kind of nutrient of the food you eat and how it will interact with your body system.

Explain how cells specialize to form specific tissue and organs?
S_A_V [24]
All cells have the same DNA. They are different because different genes have been locked up and only some of them are expressed. The process began in the embryonic stage, when stem cells are turned into different types of cells by turning off some of the genes. Scientists have been looking for ways to reverse the process, meaning turning specialized cells back into stem cells. Some success has been reported using different methods. The latest one uses a weak acid to stress the cells.

Answer:

In my own words, this summary equation tells me that:

When glucose reacts with oxygen, carbon (IV) oxide and water are given off and energy is produced.

Explanation:

Cellular respiration is known to be a metabolic reaction which actually occur in the cells of living organisms whereby chemical energy is converted into energy (ATP) and certain waste products, carbon (IV) oxide and water are released. We can simply put that cellular respiration is a process of converting sugars to energy. In the giving equation, we can see that glucose which is a sugar reacts with oxygen to give CO₂ and H₂O.
