What influenced the development of kabuki during the golden age of Japan?
umka21 [38]

I would say Buddhist teachings and Chinese culture. Other sources say foreign cultures but encyclopedia Britannica states it had a lot of influence from Buddhist teachings.
The Kabuki form dates from the early 17th century, when a female dancer named Okuni (who had been an attendant at the Grand Shrine of Izumo), achieved popularity with parodies of Buddhist prayers. She assembled around her a troupe of wandering female performers who danced and acted. Okuni’s Kabuki was the first dramatic entertainment of any importance that was designed for the tastes of the common people in Japan. The sensuous character of the dances (and the prostitution of the actors) proved to be too disruptive for the government, which in 1629 banned women from performing. Young boys dressed as women then performed the programs, but this type of Kabuki was suppressed in 1652, again because of concern for morals. Finally, older men took over the roles, and it is this form of all-male entertainment that has endured to the present day. Kabuki plays grew in sophistication, and the acting became more subtle.

Highlight ways in which Mars and Earth are compared and contrasted.
adoni [48]

Answer:

Explanation:

In what way is Mars similar to Earth?

Earth and Mars are similar when it comes to their basic makeups, given that they are both terrestrial planets. This means that both are differentiated between a dense metallic core and an overlying mantle and crust composed of less dense materials (like silicate rock).

In what way is Mars different from Earth?

Earth is almost twice the diameter of Mars. If Earth were the size of a baseball, Mars would be the size of a ping-pong ball. Nearly 70 percent of Earth is covered with liquid water; Mars has none. The sun warms Earth's surface to more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Yanka [14]

Answer:

Stereotype

Explanation:

In social psychology, the term stereotype refers to a thought widely adopted about specific types of individuals that seem to represent the entire group of those individuals. However, these thoughts or beliefs may not reflect reality.

In this example, when asked to imagine someone who fits the description "construction worker" many people picture a man in a hard hat and work clothes. This is a thought or idea widely adopted about constructions workers that is not necessarily true. Therefore, this is an example of stereotype

Which of the following does NOT cause a rightward shift in the supply curve? an increase in technology a reduction in resource c
Westkost [7]

Answer:

a reduction in the price of the good

Explanation:

A supply curve will shift to the right if the sellers increase the amount of goods sold in the market.

When the price of that particular good is decreased, the amount of profit that the sellers can get from selling the goods will also decreased. So in response, the Sellers will reduce the amount of goods sold in the market (at least until the selling price bounced back again). This will cause the supply curve shifts to the left.
