Before a tornado, you can stay safe by being weather aware. Always have an emergency kit handy. During the tornado, it is important to get to a storm shelter (underground.) If one is not available, it is important to get to the lowest point. (Basement.) If you do not have access to a basement, then get in a bathtub and put something over you to protect your head. After the disaster, it is important to steer clear of disaster areas. If your home has been damaged, do not go in the home without proper inspection.

Tornadoes bring massive winds, creating mass destruction to many areas across countries every year.

1) Have a tornado emergency plan: safe shelter, emergency kit that has batteries, battery operated torchlights, medication, water and non-perishable food like biscuits.'

2)Stay aware of weather conditions: Stay tuned to local radio, TV stations or to NOAA weather radio on updates of the weather outside

3)Know where to shelter and where NOT TO SHELTER during a tornado:

Avoid mobile home

Avoid windows

Head to the basement or the lowest floor room without windows

Hide under something sturdy like a heavy table

you try to pick up an object and discover that it is much heavier than you expected. which process must occur in the muscle to i
maw [93]

The process that must occur is the recruitment of motor units.

Muscles allow us to lift heavy things. They are made of fibers, that when they contract themselves, the tension increases, allowing us to lift objects.

When we want to lift a heavy object, our body contracts the necessary muscles that we will use for that. In other words:

  1. The motor neuron that innervates several skeletal fibers sends the signal to them
  2. The fibers contract themselves,
  3. The tension increases, producing the necessary force to lift an object.

If the object is too heavy and we can not lift it, the process that must occur is the recruitment of motor units. That is to say, that more motor neurons with their fiber muscles (motor units) should be activated to increase the number of fibers contracting themselves to lift the heavy object.

In conclusion, the muscle needs more active motor units to lift something heavy, and the body does this through recruitment.
