Judaism was only religion who conceived the notion of monotheistic God. Monotheism teaches us ethical monotheism which means morality can be learned from God. The monotheistic religion is Christianity, Islam, Zoroastrians, Judaism, Sikhism. It was the original religion of humanity. In 19 century they favored evolutionary progression by polytheism. But Judaism and Christianity opposed polytheism. Karen Armstrong has highlighted the idea of evolutionary progression.
