Answer: The correct answer is'when adding a few drops of base causes a large increase in pH'.

Explanation:

When an acid reacts with base neutralization reaction occurs which means that  H^+ ions from the acid and OH^- ion from the base combine together to form neutral molecule of water.

  • If the concentration of H^+ is slightly higher than the OH^- concentration then the pH of the solution will become lower than 7.
  • If the concentration of OH^- is slightly higher than the H^+ concentration then the pH of the solution will become higher than 7.
  • If concentration of both H^+ and OH^-are equal then the pH of the solution will be 7. That is neutral pH.

During the titration , while adding base to an acid. Addition of base must be stopped when large increase in value of pH of an acid is observed on a pH meter.

Collagen is made of fibers and is found in tendons and cartilage. Collagen
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

Collagen is a "fibrous proteins" present in the extracellular matrix.

Explanation:

Protein are made up of hundreds or thousands of smaller units called amino acids and is made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and sometimes sulfur and is found in many foods. Proteins are organic molecules found in living organisms.

There are three types of proteins; fibrous, globular, and membrane.

Collagen which is a fibrous proteins, form muscle fiber, tendons, connective tissue and bone.

Collagen are naturally occurring proteins that consist of single molecules made up of amino-acids, which are in turn built of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen. It is mostly found in fibrous tissues such as tendons, ligaments, and skin.

The synthesis of collagen occurs in two stages: intracellular and extracellular.

Collagen is an abundant connective tissues such as cartilage, tendons, bones, and ligaments. Collagen is a contributing factor to variation in meat tenderness and texture.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!
Advocard [28]

Answer:

KOH

Explanation:

Chemical reaction:

2K + 2H₂O →  2KOH + H₂

Element ratio of K.

K = 1

Because only potassium is present.

Element ratio of H₂O.

2 : 1

in water ratio of element is 2 : 1 because two hydrogen and one oxygen atom present.

Element ratio of KOH

1 : 1 : 1

in KOH elemental ratio is 1 : 1 : 1 because one potassium one hydrogen and one oxygen atom are present.

Element ratio of H₂.

2

Just two atoms of hydrogen are present.
