That statement is True
Gas giants refer to the large planets the made up from large composition of gas.
These planets are located significantly further from the sun compared to another planet, which makes them have more debris left over from their formation, which will turn either into rings or moons (satellites) that surround these planets.

What do you think is meant by the statement “the human digestive system is very efficient at squeezing everything it can out of
Mkey [24]

I think the statement “the human digestive system is very efficient at squeezing everything it can out of any food?" refers to the way the stomach is good at absorbing the wanted nutrients and keeping them in the body, while disposing of the unwanted waste and toxins. The biomolecules are broken down to preserve only certain nutrients within the molecules.

Multiple Choice New species arise when a. a portion of the population becomes isolated from the remainder of the population and
Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

a. a portion of the population becomes isolated from the remainder of the population and experiences different selective pressures

Explanation:

This is an example of allopatric speciation Allopatric speciation is a form of speciation (formation of new species) that occurs as a result of geographic isolation. This means that a part of population becomes physically separated from the initial main population. There is no gene flow between these two populations and as a result the two populations  reach a high level  of genetic divergence. They can no longer interbreed which means they become two different species (speciation).

New populations evolve as result of mutation, genetic drift and natural selection.

For example, Galapagos finches are isolated from others by the ocean (geographic isolation).  Because of the isolation, the finches don’t breed with one another. So, they developed unique characteristics and became endemic.
