Answer:

The correct answers based on the respective numbers are:

1. Immune system

2. Endocrine system

3. Integumentary system

4. Reproductive system

5. Skeletal system

6. Muscular system

7. Circulatory system

Explanation:

From basic biology, you know that cells are the building blocks of living organisms, and a combination of cells form tissue, a combination of tissues form system, while a combination of systems form a complex organism. I will explain briefly the main systems of the body, which will eventually cover the answers listed above :

1. Immune system: comprises of immune cells some of which are white blood cells, and lymphocytes, they are mostly involved in defending the body against harmful pathogens that tend to cause illnesses and eventually death. The mechanism of these protection is known as immunity

2. Endocrine system: this system work using hormones to regulate and influence the functionality of the body from control of volume of urine passed, to development of reproductive organs to a wide array of functions in the body. They use hormones which are chemicals signals that act on certain body cites to effect a regulatory result.

3. Integumentary System: this is also known as exocrine system and it consists of skin, hair and nails. The integumentary system mainly involves covering the body, thereby protecting it from many micro organisms, harmful radiations etc.

4. Reproductive system: this system is responsible for the production of new organisms of the same species from a parent organism. It mainly includes the male and female reproductive organs and the gonads in an individual

5. Skeletal system: from the word skeletons, which are bony frameworks that give the body support and structure, the skeletal system is mainly composed of bones and cartilages

6. Muscular system: This system is involved in enabling movement through the use of muscles and there are about 600 skeletal muscles. There is also the cardiac muscle which helps the heart in the pumping of blood

7. Circulatory system: the circulatory system is composed of the heart, arteries, veins and capillaries. These vessels are responsible for delivering blood round the body to perfuse the body cells for circulatory exchange (removal of waste and delivering of nutrients and oxygen to the cells). The circulatory system also plays a chief role in body temperature regulation.

8. Digestive system: this system is mainly composed of the mouth, and the gut and is responsible for the breaking down of complex molecules found in food and drinks, their absorption to into body and excretion of the bye products of metabolism

9. Excretory system: this involves the elimination outside the body of harmful waste products of metabolism and detoxification. The organs here include kidneys, liver lungs and skin

10. Nervous system: this system is involved in the use of nerves and neurons for the transfer of neurons for the transmission of impulses throughout the body helping in response to stimuli, muscle contraction and so many other nervous related actions that I suggest you look up.

11. Respiratory system: here the lungs help to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.

I suggest you read a medical dictionary or an encyclopedia or even google each of these systems to get a good grasp of what each of them entail.

Human body has seven main systems which perform specific functions:

1. Immune System defends the body after it has been invaded by a microscopic organism.

2. Endocrine System regulates the body's metabolism, growth, and functions of the sexual organs.

3. Integumentary System protects the internal tissues of the body from potential harm.

4. Reproductive System responsible for conception.

5. Skeletal System provides the body with a framework that is strong and mobile

6. Muscular System consists of 600 skeletal muscles that allow the body to move.

7. Circulatory System carries life-giving blood to the cells.

All these systems are necessary for the proper functioning of the body.
