<span>Stephen Hawking uses a speech generating device that he is able to work with a sensor in his mouth. The sensor is able to take his muscle movements and translate them into words. Intel has created something called SwiftKey which has enhanced this sensor to predict whole words and generate them with more clarity and more accurately.</span>
Okay so I’m on the bystander side.
1. I can stand up for Tristan
Pro: Tristan we’ll have a better stand in his side.
Con: they might bully me too
2. I can tell an adult I trust ( I know this sounds like something a adult would say but coming from a high schooler I can say it helps)
Pro: they can do so much more discipline wise then I can.
Con: They might not believe me or just pass it over.
3. You can get together with some friends or even other bystanders and think of a better way to approach the bullies.
Pro: it’s not just you standing up to them it’s many.
Con: you may lose some popularity because you helped the new kid
To protect the victim, to deter the defendant from further violent acts by holding him accountable for his actions, and to communicate to the community that domestic violence will not be tolerated.
