She was born into the royal ruling class family in Egypt. Egypt had many problems during this time, including foods, famines, and a poor economy.
She was exiled into Syria and formed an army on the Egyptina border.

Cleopatra was one of the princesses of the Nile. She was also the ruler of Egypt until her suicide on august 12 of 30 B.C.

  If you read a bio on Cleo you know her affair with Julius Caesar, he was not the only man she had a affair with or fell in love with but he is the man who helped her protect the Nile and build a better military presents/ power upon the war to defeat Ptolemy. 

Though Cleo never married Caesar she did married Mark Antony until her suicide. 

Her father was Ptolemy XII Auletes

 Fun fact :She married two of her brothers before Antony and she had a son by Caesar Named Caesarion... Aka Little Caesar.
