Answer: C, Plants, algae, and bacteria

Plants and algae both consists chloroplast and carry out photosynthesis to make their own food. A group of bacteria(not all bacteria) is able to carry out photosysthesis like plants and algae to make their own food. These group of bacteria contain light absorbing pigment that makes them able to photosynthesize. Some common bacteria that  photosynthesize are cynobacteria, purple bacteria, green sulphur bacteria and green gliding bacteria. These all bacteria contain pigment to absorb light and perform photosynthesis to make their own food.

Photosynthesis carries out by plants, algae, and bacteria.

Further Explanation:

Photosynthesis starts with the absorption of light or solar energy by the plant pigments called chlorophyll. The activated chlorophyll molecule helps in the electron transfer from one acceptor to another forming a chain.

Mainly photosynthesis occurs in bacteria, algae and plants. The plant and algae both consists chloroplast that carry out photosynthesis through this process they can make their own food. Some bacteria can perform or carry photosynthesis and make their own food. Bacteria consists pigment which can easily absorb by light and carry out photosynthesis. Some examples of autotrophic bacteria are purple bacteria, cyanobacteria and green sulphur bacteria.

The first phase of photosynthesis the light-dependent reaction in which the absorbed light is utilized to produce molecules carrying energy that is used in the second phase to form carbohydrates by reducing carbon dioxide. The second phase of the photosynthesis is the dark reaction or the light-independent reaction happens in the stroma and utilizes the products formed during the light-dependent phase.

n horses, the hair color gene has a dominant allele B (Black) and a recessive allele b (Chestnut). The gait gene has a dominant
Zinaida [17]

Answer:

The answer is 9.

Explanation:

There are dominant and recessive genes for both the hair color gene and the gait gene in horses, B, b, T and t respectively.

If a black trotter is heterozygous that means it's genotype is going to be Bb and Tt, therefore it will possess both dominant and recessive genes for the two traits.

The allele combinations in the gametes it produces can be BBTT, BBTt, BBtt, BbTT, BbTt, Bbtt, bbTT, bbTt and bbtt .

I hope this answer helps.

Did the Florida Panther become endangered because of natural selection, genetic drift, or gene flow?
Natalija [7]

Answer:

ALL OF THE ABOVE

Explanation:

Genetic Drift are the changes in allele frequency of a population that result from RANDOM survival or reproduction of individuals with certain characteristics.  Survival or reproduction of those individuals in the face of some environmental change is a matter of LUCK or CHANCE, not because of their phenotype or genotype.

While in Natural selection, the environmental events that affect a population are likely random, but the survival or reproduction of the individuals depends on their phenotypes and genotypes.

Meanwhile, Gene flow is the movement of genes into or out of a population. Low gen flow can lead to low genetic diversity.

Low population which can cause low genetic diversity, poor habitat conditions and habitat loss, road deaths, and commercial development in panther range are constant threats to the Florida Panther's survival.

All these causes are related and therefore affects the Florida Panther.
