<span>1/4 = 9X cm = tie the boxes </span>

<span>5/9 of remaining = 5/9 x 27X = 15X cm </span>

<span>Remaining = 36X - 9X - 15X = 12X </span>

<span>Length of rope used for tying boxes = 9X = 90 cm ANSWER </span>

<span>3) Let the total fruit pieces be 12X </span>
