Which order pair could you remove from the relation {(-2,-1),(-1,1),(-1,0),(0,1),1,0)}

What's the point here?  Why would you remove one of the ordered pairs?

The only thing I see here that hints at an answer is that -1 is the first term of both (-1,1) and -1,0).  If we got rid of one of these, then the relationship could be a function; otherwise it is not a function.  Why?  Because in the case of a function, all first elements of the ordered pairs are unique (different from all the other first elements).

Could someone help me? Which color is it.
wariber [46]

Answer:

(1,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 2x+1

y = 4x-1

Since both equations are equal to y, we can set them equal to each other

2x+1 = 4x-1

Subtract 2x from each side

2x+1-2x = 4x-2x-1

1 = 2x-1

Add 1 to each side

1+1 = 2x-1+1

2 = 2x

Divide each side by 2

2/2 = 2x/2

1 =x

Now we need to find y

y = 2x+1

y = 2(1)+1

y =3

Estimate then add to find the combined length of the four highways shown in the table.is your answer resonable? Explain. Interst
Olegator [25]
To estimate, round 3102 to 3100
round 1-10 to 2500
1-70 to 2100
1-80 to 2900
2900+2100+2500+3100=10600mi
Yes it is reasonable because you add and subtract numbers when estimating, however it is not exact

Fine the distance between p(2,8 and q(5,3)
defon
d = \sqrt{(x_{2} - x_{1})^{2} + (y_{2} - y_{1})^{2}}
d = \sqrt{(5 - 2)^{2} + (3 - 8)^{2}}\
d = \sqrt{(3)^{2} + (-5)^{2}}
d = \sqrt{9 + 25}
d = \sqrt{34}
