The answer is c. Natural selection is when inheritable traits that they need to survive is passed down to the next generation. Biological revolution changes the environment so the organism's offspring has to change with it through genetic variations. If you increase it's life span than you may not have genetic variation over a period of time.

You have a plant with yellow seeds, which express a dominant phenotype. How would you determine the plant's genotype? Conduct a
Archy [21]
The answer is Conduct a test cross with a purebred recessive plant.

Test cross is the cross between an organism with unknown dominant genotype and an organism with known recessive genotype.

Since dominant trait results from a dominant allele, the test cross can determine if an unknown genotype is heterozygous and homozygous dominant.

If A is dominant allele, and a is recessive allele, then AA is dominant homozygote, Aa is a heterozygote, and aa is recessive homozygote.

According to the Punnett square, if all of the offspring are heterozygote (Aa), then unknown genotype is dominant homozygous (AA). If half of the offspring are the heterozygote, and the other half are recessive homozygote, then the unknown genotype is heterozygote (Aa).

An organ represents a higher level of structure than the tissue composing it and performs functions that the tissues cannot perf
Natalija [7]

Answer: This is an example of organizational heirarchy.

Explanation: These biological structures are designed in a way that the whole system consist of different parts serving its own unique purpose, making up a full functional system. It goes from; atoms, molecules, cells, tissues and organs which makes up a system. Digestive system for example is composed of atoms, molecules, cells, tissues and organs that helps to digest amd convert food into energy(ATP).

Why is it impossible for offspring to show recessive trait if one parent is homozygous for the dominant trait?
Luden [163]

If you make a punnet square out of this, there is no possibility to have a recessive trait because neither parents have it plus dominant is always going to overrule recessive traits.
