A non-example of diffusion is a brick.
Diffusion is termed as movement of molecules from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration. A good example is how oxygen enters the body during external respiration which is referred to as breathing.
Some of examples of diffusion are diffusion of mineral salt in the soil water into the root hairs cells. Diffusion of oxygen into the carbon dioxide and cell out of the cell in a unicellular like an amoeba, Diffusion of oxygen through the lungs and carbon dioxide out to the lungs of mammals.
Diffusion of carbon dioxide and oxygen out by the leaf through the stomata.
Carbon is exchanged, or "cycled" among Earth's oceans, atmosphere, ecosystem, and geosphere. All living organisms are built of carbon compounds. It is the fundamental building block of life and animportant component of many chemical processes.
Answer:
Release of large numbers of eggs/sperm into the water during reproduction cycles.
Explanation:
Adaptation may be defined as the change in the physical, physiological and chemical changes in the organisms that helps them to survive in their environment.
The organisms living in the rocky intertidal zone shows adaptations as they are more darker in color and has simple body organisation. The algae, crabs and snails live in the intertidal zone. They have small number of offspring that protect them from the predators.
Thus, the answer is release of large numbers of eggs/sperm into the water during reproduction cycles.
Hi
I am going to tell you a story about the water cycle.
Evaporation is what happens first. This is wear the water goes into the air. Next Condensation this were it rises into the the atmosphere. Now we go onto the sublimation this is what happens when the water contributes to the vapor in the air. We all know what comes next precipitation this is were all of the clouds accumulation and it snows or rains. Transportation well this is what it is it is absorbed by the soil. Runoff this is where something weird happens it pours down in what ever form. And finally infiltration this is were Some of the water that precipitates does not runoff into the rivers and is absorbed by the plants or gets evaporated. It moves deep into the soil. This is called infiltration. The water seeps down and increases the level of ground water table. It is called pure water and is drinkable. The infiltration is measured as inches of water-soaked by the soil per hour.
Hope this helps.
Answer:
strong, dense outer layer of a bone- compact bone
tissue in the hollow part of the bone- bone marrow
lightweight, inner layer of a bone that
contains many small spaces- spongy bone
Explanation:
Compact bone is also known as cortical bone and is a major property and source of skeletal frames in the body due to its strong, dense outer layer.
Bone marrow is the tissue in the hollow part of the bone. It is important as it helps in the production of blood cells
Spongy bone is also known as cancellous bone. It is the lightweight, inner layer of a bone that contains many small spaces which contains a high proportion of bone marrow.
