The first step- realize what is causing you stress

Symptoms of stress- Lashing out for reasons sometimes you don't even know. Can't relax muscles. Sometimes you can't eat or you eat a lot. You throw up from stress.


Ways to control stress-

1. Find out what is stressing you out

2. Remove yourself away from situation if possible

3. Count down from 30 repeat as necessary

4. exercise

5. Go somewhere you can scream

6. Do something you like to do

7. Go for a run

8. Cuddle up with animal and read or watch Tv

The first step is becoming aware of your reactions to stress. Stress can emerge from both negative and positive events.

Any eight of the following:

Speak to a person you enjoy talking to

Listen to music that relaxes you

Take yourself out of the stressful situation

Ask yourself if it’s really that important

Set realistic goals

Don’t overwhelm yourself with tasks

Learn to change the way you react

Learn to change your outlook

Avoid extreme reactions

Do something for others

Get enough rest

Exercise

Avoid self-medicating or drugs

Develop a thick skin

Use stress productively

Trouble falling and staying asleep; worrying about the future; trouble finding time to have fun and enjoy oneself; pressure to do too many things

Sometimes your eyes are bigger than your stomach and you end up eating more than your body can handle at one time. When you eat too much, your digestive system has to work on overdrive, causing a spike in blood sugar, an upset stomach, and feelings of lethargy.
