Islamic individuals set up major trade meccas throughout all these areas, Then, they had the opportunity to spread their religion. They were seen as more high class than Christian individuals, and their religion was given more respect. They didn't have to pay certain taxes and they had more freedoms based on the law. Thus it was appealing to many to convert in order to get these special privileges and freedoms.</span>
