According to the medical community, females should visit a gynecologist (the doctor specialized to the female reproductive system) when they enter puberty, that is between the age of 13 and 15. However, some doctors suggest having the first reproductive system check-up when the female becomes sexually active. This check-up should be performed every year, in order to ensure that the female reproductive system is functioning properly.
