The coordinated, rhythmic, serial contraction of smooth muscle that forces food through the digestive tract is called peristalsis. It is a series of contractions of the muscles that is wave like which moves the food into the different parts of the digestive system. It begins in the esophagus when a food is being swallowed. These are involuntary motion of the circular and longitudinal muscles. It happens in the esophagus, the stomach and the intestines. It is the central nervous system that initiates and controls this process. This motion is not only limited to the digestive tract but can also be found on other systems in the body.

The definition of faith contains two aspects:intellectual assent and trust. intellectual assent is believing something to be true.Trust is actually relying on the fact that something is true.A chair is often used to help illustrate this. Intellectual assent is recognizing that a chair is a chair and agreeing that it is designed to support a person who sits on it. Trust is actually sitting in the chair.

How would a muscle injury surrounding a broken vessel effect hemostasis?
8_murik_8 [283]
Hemostasis is the process by which bleeding is stopped, that is, a process by which the blood is kept back in the broken blood vessel. It is the first stage in the wound healing process.
During hemostasis, three rapid steps occur simultaneously. In the first step, the blood vessel constrict in order to reduce the quantity of blood that is flowing out, secondly, platelets stick together in order to form a temporary seal which covers the break and thirdly blood clottings formed by adding fibrin threads which serves as molecular glue on the surface of the wound.
