Ok to figure out if one is an inverse function, you plug in y for x and substitute f(x) with x and solve for y.

We only have to do this for 1 of the functions so we will take f(x)

x = 5y +1/y

I’m not sure you can solve for y here therefore g(x) is not an inverse function of f(x)

Suppose the height of the pyramid is 20 yards. What is the pyramid's volume?
DedPeter [7]

Answer : The correct option is, (B) 1500 cubic yards.

Step-by-step explanation :

Formula used to calculate the volume of square pyramid is:

V=\frac{a^2\times h}{3}

where,

V = volume of pyramid

a = base edge of pyramid

h = height of pyramid

Given:

Base edge of pyramid = 15 yards

Height of pyramid = 20 yards

Now putting all the given values in the above formula, we get:

V=\frac{a^2\times h}{3}

V=\frac{(15\text{ yrads})^2\times (20\text{ yards})}{3}

V=1500\text{ yards}^3

Therefore, the volume of pyramid is 1500 cubic yards.
