Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of doses of medication needed to be administered is 26. Each dose is 1 1/3oz. Converting to improper fraction, it becomes 4/3 oz

If you only have a 32oz bottles of med in stock, the number of doses of medication that it can contain will be capacity of the bottle / the size of each dose of medication. It becomes

32 ÷ 4/3 = 32 × 3/4 = 24

Only 24 doses can be filled with the

32oz bottles

So it will not be enough to administer all 26 doses

Determine the area of the circle, given each measurement. Use 3.14 for Pi and round to the nearest hundredth.
zimovet [89]

Answer:

314 in

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a circle is pi* r^2

If the radius is 10, then it is

pi* 10^2= 100pi

100*3.14 is around 314.16, using 3.14 for Pi it will be 314

What is the sum of an infinite geometric series if a1 = 144 and r = 1⁄4?
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum to infinity of a geometric sequence is

sum to infinity = \frac{a_{1} }{1-r}

here a_{1} = 144 and r = \frac{1}{4}, hence

sum = \frac{144}{1-\frac{1}{4} }

      = \frac{144}{\frac{3}{4} }

      = \frac{144(4)}{3} = 192 → D

What is the x-intercept of the line 4x+3y=36
Genrish500 [490]

we can always find the x-intercept of any equation by simply setting y  = 0, so let's do so

\bf 4x+3y=36\implies 4x+3(\stackrel{y}{0})=36\implies 4x=36\implies x=\cfrac{36}{4}\implies x = 9 \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ ~\hfill (9~~,~~0)~\hfill

A tank contains 4500 litres of water. Water flows out of the tank at a rate of 1.2 litres per second. How many minutes will it t
8090 [49]
The first thing to notice with this question is that the volume of the tank is given in cm3 yet the rate at which the water leaks is in litres, so a conversion of units will be neccessary. We know that there are 1000cm3 for every litre so 45000cm3 is equivilent to 45 litres (45,000/1000 = 45). So what do we know now? Well the tank of water contains 45 litres, and every minute 0.75 litres is lost, so our objective is to find out how many miuntes go by before the tank is empty. In other words how many 0.75s go into 45, luckily division can help us out. 45/0.75 = 60 minutes.
