Spring 2014 National College Health Assessment found that 33% of college students suffered from depression within a year before. They felt that it was difficult to survive in daily life. It was also found that 55% of college students felt overwhelming anxiety. Other 87% of students also felt overwhelmed with their daily responsibilities.
A survey from the Center for Collegiate Mental Health at Penn State University which was conducted in 2015, found that 20% of college students seeking for the help from the mental health experts to overcome their stress.

From the survey conducted by Spring 2014 National College Health Assessment and the Center for Collegiate Mental Health, it was found the several causes of college students’ stress. They are the pressure to succeed from the school or family, pressured to be successful in their last year o high school so that they will graduate with a great performance to choose favorite universities and social media.
