I believe the answer is: It provides health care coverage for millions of Americans.

The plan most commonly known as the ObamaCare. Currently, this plan is losing popularity since it required people to pay high payment for a specified insurance company (even higher compared to buy an insurance plan from a private insurance company). Even a large portion of democratic voters asked for it to be repelled.

The primary reason why the 2010 Affordable Care Act stands as one of the most important domestic policy plans in recent history is because it was the first of its kind. Universal healthcare had never existed in the United States before.

How does biological determinism apply to the cult of domesticity
fenix001 [56]

Biological determinism is a canard that has repeatedly been explained away by evolutionary informed scientists since time immemorial. Humans are an inextricable mix of their genes and their environments. As a matter of fact, genes get turned on or off as a function of environmental inputs. Evolutionary-based cognitive computational systems take information from the environment to get activated. Natural selection itself, the foundational mechanism of evolution, is shaped by the selective forces within a specific environment. Hence, there is no such thing as biological determinism.
