As long as calories consumed and expended are not the same, diet or activity level should be adjusted for the good of the body's health.

Answer:

Based on my consumed and expended calories, I plan to make changes in my diet and daily activity, because I consume more calories than a need, this situation has been created an excess of body fat and worsening of my cardiovascular system. Because of these bad habits, my health is worse nowadays.

So, basically, this actual condition of excess body fat, and surely also fat excess in my bloodstream, all of those make harder to workout, because the body is not use to it, that's why an activity level change is mandatory, because in long term there are several health risk, like heart disease.
