Public works can include a lot of things, depending on the town or city one is in. Public Works can include the maintenance of pools, parks, beaches, trees, landscaping and much more. Public Works departments are often made up of both year-round employees and seasonal employees, who help during the summer with pools, parks, and landscaping and in the winter with snow removal.
