LGBT+ Youth contemplates s**c*de 3x the rate of a straight cis youth. LGBT+ youth are about 5x as likely to have attempted s**c*de compared to straight youth. LGBT+ attempts are 5x as likely to require hospitalization and medical help due to an increase in the brutality and intent of how much pain to be caused by the kid. 40% of trans (ages 27+) report making an attempt and 92% of them say they made an attempt before age 25. LBGT+ Youths who are rejected by loved ones have a 8.4 times increase in likelihood to attempt s**c*de then a LGBT+ person who has zero to low level of loved one's rejection. Every episode of rejection, LGBT+ victimization, physical/verbal abuse/harassment raises the self-harm likelihood of 2.5 times on average.
