ii) the Revenue is R = 80x

iii) therefore the product will at least break even when

    the cost, C   = the Revenue, R.

 therefore 55x + 450 = 80x   \Rightarrow  (80 - 35)x  = 45x = 450    ∴x = 450 / 45 = 10.

iv) The interval where the product will at least break even is given by x ≥

    10.

   In interval notation the interval will be denoted by [10, ∞).
