Answer:

Communal lifestyle, respect for elders, conflict resolution by community elders and sanctity of life are common beliefs and values that exist in my culture.

Explanation:

Communal lifestyle: This is a practice that is greatly upheld in our culture. It is not so much a practice to live an isolated lifestyle or practice individualism. This is a norm that influences my day to day life.

Respect for elders: You are duty bound to respect elders at all time. These include greeting them and helping them in form of social services when the need arises. It is a strong belief that if you refuse to help your elders, your children and other children will do same to you when you are advanced in age and becomes an elder.

Conflict resolution by community elders: Whenever there us any form of conflict, chaos or crisis that involved two members of the community, it is the obligation of such parties to report to the community elders and not the police at first instance. Anyone found reporting issues that could be settled at the communal level to government security agencies could be fined a stipulated amount of money or possibly issued any form of punishment for negating the usual practice.

Sanctity of life: Every life is sacred and must be respected in our culture. It is unacceptable to kill, unless in the event of life or death. These are some common beliefs and values that exist in my culture

Using your sociological imagination, how would you explain the connection between the Pandemic and class conflict in the United
aksik [14]

Answer:

The Pandemic and class conflict in the U.S. and across the world has a close connection.

While it is true that the virus can infect everyone, from rich to poor, to even presidents and prime ministers, if we look at the statistics in many areas, it can be seen that not only poor people are more likely to get sick from the virus, they are also more likely to die from it.

This is because poverty is a condition that affects every single aspect of a person's life: from the way they dress, to the type of house they dwell in, to they kind of medical care they have access to. In fact, many poor people do not even have healthcare.

In this sense, the lower class is more likely to suffer and die from the virus, and this is why it is important that government around the world step in and protect the poor by providing them with healthcare, and with guaranteed incomes if they lose their jobs, or have to stop working due to the lockdowns and the economic decline.

Since our perceiving lenses are typically subjective and biased, our beliefs about the world are often subjective and biased as
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

The perceiving lenses can be defined as a frame from which we see or view the world around us. Perception can result in biases.

Our perception is indeed subjective and biased because we see or view things only through the lenses of our experiences. This bias affects our beliefs also about the world because our perceptions are solely shaped by our experiences. And if one has had a bad experience with an event, it will badly shape our perception, which, in turn, will affect our beliefs about the world.

So, the given statement is true.
