and workout at the gym. What is the probability that a student works out given that they also play sports

Probability = number of desired outcome / Total number of possible outcomes

According to the given data,
  number of people work out at gym = 150
  number of people play sports         = 200
  number of people who do both       = 100

The total number of sudents = 150 + 200 + 100 = 450

Probability of a student who do both = 100 / 450 = 2 / 9
