I would say no because (I’m guessing this is talking about the time during WWI) the US already sided with the Allied powers, and Germany (Central Powers) shot down American ships suspected of carrying weapons and ammunition, which led to the Lusitania sinking. If the US joined the Central Powers, they would have won the war
