I would say no because (I’m guessing this is talking about the time during WWI) the US already sided with the Allied powers, and Germany (Central Powers) shot down American ships suspected of carrying weapons and ammunition, which led to the Lusitania sinking. If the US joined the Central Powers, they would have won the war

USPshnik [31]

The correct answer is C)Hears appeals from lower federal and state courts.

The Supreme Court picks several different cases that have filed for an appeal during a calendar year. From there, these cases will be heard by the 9 Supreme Court justices. After hearing both sides of the argument, the Supreme Court then has the power to overrule any previous ruling from the local or state level. Was president roosevelt correct in his belief that a strong military presence promoted global peace?
musickatia [10]
It is mostly true and he was proven to be right in the years to come. Due to being afraid of mutually assured destruction, the cold war never even began with actual troops fighting because they were afraid of each other's strong military presence. Having a strong military means that others won't dare attack you, and you won't dare attack them if they have strong militaries.
