John thought again to himself. How could he possible write a short story with all ten of these words?

"Acclaim, adjacent, elicit, engross, escalate, exploit, methodical," he mumbles to himself. They just don't seem to go along with one another. Then, an idea comes through his mind.

"Obsolete, tangible, terminate... I got it!" John immediately scribbles down some sentences on his loose leaf. He has finally finished his assignment.

Vivid imagery is often used to help the reader identify the plot structure. connect the ideas. form a mental picture. recognize
marusya05 [52]

Answer: Vivid imagery is often used to help the reader form a mental picture.

Basically, vivid imagery is a widely used technique in the field of writing. Simply because, many writers find it as a very effective method to describe something to the reader. In vivid imagery, the writer should include the five senses which are the sense of sight, taste, smell, touch, and hearing when he describes something in his writing piece. In this way, the reader will have a clear idea of what the writer is talking about.
