.60 \times 700 = 420 \\ 700 - 420 = 280
First I found the number of adults by multiplying .60 by 700. It was 420. From there all I had to do was subtract it from 700. Revealing the number of children to be 280.

Svetllana [295]
To find the average miles they drove each day, divide the total amount of miles by the number of days they drove.

Can someone tell me why the answer is 2?
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

If we put x=2 in the given equation, we get the answer for the equation as 2

Given:

      \sqrt{-3 x+10}=x

To find:

Why the answer is 2

Solution:

If we substitute the value x=2 in the given option, we get

        \sqrt{-3(2)+10}=2

          \sqrt{-6+10}=2

        \sqrt{4}=2

Result:

Thus we can say that when substitute the value of x=2

We get the answer as \sqrt{-3 x+10}=2
