15 km = 15000 meters
2 short run days = 8500*2 = 17000 m
2 long run days = 15000*2 = 30000 m
30000 - 17000= 13000 m
He will run 13000 meters farther on his two long run days.

Answer:

x = 2, P = 22 cm, A = 21 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The 2 legs of the triangle are congruent , then

6x - 4 = 8 ( add 4 to both sides )

6x = 12 ( divide both sides by 6 )

x = 2

perimeter = 8 + 8 + 6 = 22 cm

Area = \frac{1}{2} bh ( b is the base and h the perpendicular height )

Here b = 6 and h = 7 , then

A = \frac{1}{2} × 6 × 7 = 3 × 7 = 21 cm²
