Chemical properties can only be analyzed by putting the substance through a chemical reaction, such as combustion.
Physical properties can be analyzed without altering the substance chemically. With that in mind:

Boiling point: physical
Density: physical
Ductility: physical
Heat of combustion: chemical

Hello :)

They are simply asking us to find which one of these properties are different from the rest, so we need to categorize them.

Boiling point , would belongs in the physical change category

Density , Also belongs in the physical change category.

Ductility , Also belongs in the physical change category.

Heat of combustion, Belongs in the chemical change category. Since this is the only property that is different from the rest / in a different category, this would be the answer.

So, the answer would be D. Heat of Combustion

If an atom has 35 protons in nucleus how many neutrons will it have orbiting the nueclues
Dvinal [7]

Answer

Because the two particles have an equal charge, the charges will cancel out and give the atom an overall charge of 0. So, if at atom has 35 protons in the nucleus, we could expect it to have 35 electrons orbiting that nucleus.

For the following reaction, find the value of Q and predict the direction of change, given that a 1L flask initially contains 2
Tresset [83]

Answer:

C) Q < K, reaction will make more products

Explanation:

 • 1/8 S8(s) + 3 F2(g) ↔ SF6(g)

∴ Kc = 0.425 = [ SF6 ] / [ F2 ]³

∴ Q = [ SF6 ] / [ F2 ]³

∴ [ SF6 ] = 2 mol/L

∴ [ F2 ] = 2 mol/L

⇒ Q = ( 2 ) / ( 2³)

⇒ Q = 0.25

⇒ Q < K, reaction will make more products

How do you think our understanding of genes might affect doctors ability to treat or prevent disease in the future?
igomit [66]

Answer:

dentifying genetic variants Genome sequencing has the potential to improve the diagnosis of conditions caused by changes in the DNA and indicate what treatments may be most effective. Importantly, it may also red-flag treatments likely to cause adverse reactions.

Lewis dot structure of PSI3 with minimized formal charges
vredina [299]

We need to know how many valence electrons are present in a given molecule in order to determine its Lewis dot structure.

What is Lewis dot structure?

Lewis dot structure is defined as the visual representation of atoms' electrons using a diagram. It describe the bonds that exist between a molecule's lone pairs of electrons and its atoms.

A lone pair of electrons on the atom with the formal charge of 1- can typically be converted into a bonding pair that is shared with the atom that has the formal charge of 1+ in order to reduce the formal charges when they are present.

Thus, we need to know how many valence electrons are present in a given molecule in order to determine its Lewis dot structure.
