Answer:

Length = 5 feet and Height = 12 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

An art class is planning to paint a rectangular mural with an area of 60 square feet.

⇒  Area = 60 square feet

The measure of length > 4 feet

Also, The measure of height > 6 feet

Now, to find the required length and height in whole numbers in order to paint the complete area of 60 square units

⇒ Length = 5 feet

⇒ Height = 12 feet

Thus, Area = 12 × 5 = 60 = Area of the room which is to be painted.

Hence, Length = 5 feet and Height = 12 feet

A caterer is planning a large dinner party for 1001 guests. Each table must seat an equal number of guests, more than 1 guest a
MArishka [77]

Answer:

The prime factorization of 1001 is 7*11*13, so with the constraint that the tables seat between 2 and 19 guests, we can use tables that seat either 7, 11, or 13 guests.

For tables that seat 7, the caterer would need 11*13 = 143 tables.

For tables that seat 11, the caterer would need 7*13 = 91 tables.
