To get the number of passes:

21  2/3  Divided by 1    2/3

Change to the improper fractions:

(21 * 3  + 2) /3  = 65/3.
(1 * 3  + 2) /3  = 5/3.

=  65/3  Divide  5 / 3
=  65/3  * 3 /5           3 cancels out.   5 into 65 is 13.
= 13.

Can someone please explain how they got this answer because the entire lesson they haven’t shown me how to graph these
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

Please check explanations

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we have three types of equations and three plotted graphs

we have a quadratic equation

an exponential equation

and a linear equation

For a quadratic equation, we usually have a parabola

The first equation is quadratic and as such the first graph that is parabolic belongs to it

For an exponential equation, we usually have a graph that rises or falls before becoming flattened

The second equation represents an exponential equation so the second graph is for it

Lastly, we have a linear equation

A linear equation usually has a straight line graph

Thus, as we can see, the third graph represents the linear equation

What is the length of missing side DE? Round answer to nearest tenth.
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Considering the given triangle QED, to determine ED, we would apply the sine rule. It is expressed as

a/SinA = b/SinB = c/SinC

Where a, b and c are the length of each side of the triangle and angle A, Angle B and angle C are the corresponding angles of the triangle. Likening it to the given triangle, the expression becomes

ED/SinQ = EQ/SinD = QD/SinE

Therefore

ED/Sin 49 = 2/Sin 35

Cross multiplying, it becomes

EDSin35 = 2Sin49

0.574ED = 2 × 0.755

0.574ED = 1.51

ED = 1.51/0.574

ED = 2.63 in
