To find the area of a parallelogram you do length x width, so 15•3=45 and since there is two of them multiply by 2 and get 90. Your answer is C) 90 in^2

I hoped I helped!

NeX [460]

Answer:

A summary of the data is as follows;

1. Maximum = 34

2. Minimum = 24

3. The 1st quartile is 27

4. The median is or the 2nd quartile 34

5. The 3rd quartile is 33

The data is summarized in the attached box plot

Step-by-step explanation:

24, 25, 29, 30, 31, 31, 32, 34, 34

From the given data, we have the five values of a box and whisker plot as follows;

1. Maximum = 34

2. Minimum = 24

3. The 1st quartile is the \frac{9 + 1}{4} th term or 27

4. The median (2nd quartile) is the \frac{9 + 1}{2} th term or 34

5. The 3rd quartile is the \frac{3(9 + 1)}{4} th term or 33

Hence the attached box plot summarizes the data.

Jim wanted to find out what the audience thought about the debate. After the event, Jim stood at the exit to survey every fifth
balu736 [363]

Answer: D. This was a random sample. It may have included anyone in attendance.

Step-by-step explanation:

The options are:

A. This was a biased sample. Jim should interview all in attendance.

B. This was a census. Any guest may have participated.

C. This was a random sample. It may not have included anyone in attendance.

D. This was a random sample. It may have included anyone in attendance.

A random sampling is simply referred to as a subset of individuals that are picked from a larger set of individuals.

With regards to the question, Jim wanted to find out what the audience thought about the debate and after the event, he stood at the exit to survey every fifth guest.

This means that it was a random sampling and anyone could have been picked, the sampling wasn't bias.

Find the sum of natural number from 1 to 30
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

1. sum of term = 465

2. nth term of the AP = 30n - 10

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The sum of all natural number from 1 to 30 can be computed as follows. The first term a = 1 and the common difference d = 1 . Therefore

sum of term = n/2(a + l)

where

a = 1

l = last term = 30

n = number of term

sum of term = 30/2(1 + 30)

sum of term = 15(31)

sum of term = 465

2.The nth term of the sequence can be gotten below. The sequence is 20, 50, 80 ......

The first term which is a is equals to 20. The common difference is 50 - 20 or 80 - 50 = 30. Therefore;

a = 20

d = 30

nth term of an AP = a + (n - 1)d

nth term of an AP = 20 + (n - 1)30

nth term of an AP = 20 + 30n - 30

nth term of the AP = 30n - 10

The nth term  formula can be used to find the next term progressively.  where n = number of term

The sequence will be 20, 50, 80, 110, 140, 170, 200..............
