Explain why water use is a concern and how freshwater is vital to human life.
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer: The use of water is increasing day by day and the amount of freshwater available for the daily use is less than 1%. There are thousands of activities going on in this 1 % of water only. There is a huge of amount of water present on earth but that cannot be used because of being salty. The use of water is a concern because most of the water is wasted that water is freshwater only. The water used for brushing, bathing, agriculture, etc is freshwater only. Water should be used in a sustainable manner to fulfill the demand of present generation and save for future generation because life is impossible without water.

Looking at this graph which bacteria would have enzymes that do not function at 12 degrees Celsius
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

The correct option is D. Thermophiles and Hyper thermophiles would be the bacterias whose enzymes would not function at 12 degrees celsius.

Explanation:

A thermophile is an organism that is acquired to live in raised temperatures and heated environments. These organisms can survive in a temperature range between 41 degrees Celsius to 121 degrees Celsius.

An hyper thermophile is an organism that is adapted to live in even more extreme heat conditions then the thermophiles.

These organisms cannot stand cold conditions and hence their enzymes would not function at 12 degrees celsius.

Two nuclei now form, followed by cytokinesis. how many chromosomes are in each nucleus
tangare [24]

<span>It depends upon what type of cell which underwent the division. If it is a somatic cell and it underwent mitosis, the number of chromosomes remains unchanged at 46 in each cell. On the other hand, if it is a sex cell, the number of chromosomes is halved (23) after meiosis. By the way, mitosis is the term for cell division among somatic cells and meiosis is for the sex cells.</span>

Why do cells need to go through mitosis
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

Meiosis only occurs in reproductive cells, as the goal is to create haploid gametes that will be used in fertilization. Meiosis is important to, but not the same as, sexual reproduction. Meiosis is necessary for sexual reproduction to occur, as it results in the formation of gametes (sperm and eggs).
